I’m so glad you’re here!

I find it hard to talk about myself, so here goes nothing…

I’m currently completing my Clinical Psychology Masters at UNSW after graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney (BPsych Hons). My research has focused on the nocebo effect, mental imagery, and pain, exploring how our expectations and mental pictures can physically shape our experience. I also have research interests in trauma, PTSD, and romantic relationships.

Alongside study, I’ve worked as a behaviour therapist for a few years, and I’ve built @psychologywithcharlotte into a community of over 160,000 people learning to apply psychology to real life. I’m also undertaking my yoga teacher training (200 hour YTT) so I can help share my personal love of yoga with others!

Another thing I’m passionate about is the evidence-based benefits of journalling. I’ve written The Easy Journal, a guided journal grounded in the psychology of habits, emotions, and coping. I also run workshops, events, and coaching for people who want more than surface-level self-help.

What I believe…

Psychology shouldn’t live in textbooks or behind clinic doors. The research on habits, stress, emotions, and change is genuinely life-changing, but only if people can access it and apply it.

That’s what I’m here for. Whether it’s a five-minute journaling page, a workshop on helping you live better via evidence-based methods, or a coaching session to prepare for your clinical masters interview, I want to make psychology practical, accessible, and real.

Let's talk all things psychology..

I’m passionate about making psychology accessible to everyone through free, evidence-based content. Right now, I’m completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology at a Sydney based University.

I also work as social media coach, psychology tutor for undergrad and honours students, and I love connecting with anyone interested in psychology as a speaker and content creator in the mental health space.

What Clients Are Saying

Client Experiences and Insights

I feel a lot more confident now in understanding the clinical masters pathway. It’s also nice to know that if I am struggling I have someone to reach out to for help, takes a lot of pressure off myself. I would 1000% recommend and encourage other psychology students to reach out. You provided me a lot of clarity in my chosen pathway and support in my current learning.

Kind words from Jess Psychology student

I think just hearing lived experince from someone was what was most useful. Knowing that the advice I'm getting isn't a guess its stems from personal experince as well as research is what made me enjoy all the coaching given. I also really respected that we were told to take things with a grain of salt understanding advice is general and can be applied and felt differently by different people. This made it feel as though it's okay to have a different opinion and take on things.
